More than 8,000 leading economists and entrepreneurs, experts and consultants, journalists and exhibitors, executives of major Russian and international companies, and representatives of federal and regional authorities participated in the Russian Investment Forum, held at the Main Media Center in Sochi’s Olympic Park from 13 to 15 February.

On the Way to the 80+ Goal” forum, held with the participation of international experts on the opening day of the Russian Investment Forum. His report focused on “The Importance of Using Rapid Diagnostic Methods in Routine Medical Examinations and Self-Monitoring of Noncommunicable Diseases.”
Representatives of ETALON Company also took part in the plenary session “On the Way to a Life Expectancy of 80 Years in Russia: Challenges and Solutions,” during which experts discussed demographic development, health protection, and improving the quality of life and extending the lifespan of older people. Reports were delivered by representatives of relevant government agencies and regional heads, including Veronika Skvortsova, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation; Leo Bokeria, Director of the Bakulev National Medical Research Center of Cardiovascular Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Russia; Maxim Topilin, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation; Andrey Nikitin, Governor of Novgorod Region; Elena Shmeleva, Head of the Talent and Success Foundation; and Aleksandr Karelin, member of the State Duma Committee on Energy and three-time Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling. The discussion was attended by Igor Kagramanyan, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy; Sergey Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation; Aleksandr Sergeev, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences; and other public figures.
At the conclusion of the forum, L. A. Bokeria, President of the nationwide public organization “League of the Nation’s Health,” expressed his gratitude to ETALON Company and personally to its General Director, O. A. Potorokin, for their contribution to implementing the League of the Nation’s Health programs and presented him with a commemorative medal marking the League’s 15th anniversary.
