From May 26 to 29, 2026, at the CWT Congress Center, a landmark event for Russia’s medical community took place — the XI National Congress of Endocrinologists with international participation. The event, entitled “Personalized Medicine in Endocrinology: From Fundamental Science to Practical Healthcare,” brought together more than 5,000 leading specialists: scientists, pharmacologists, practicing endocrinologists, geneticists, therapists, and students. Organized by the Russian Association of Endocrinologists with the support of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Medical Research Center for Endocrinology named after Academician I.I. Dedov,” the congress served as a platform for in‑depth discussion of current problems and promising directions in endocrinology.

The global problem of the growing incidence of diabetes mellitus, affecting 537 million people worldwide (according to IDF, 2025), requires comprehensive and individualized approaches. Of particular concern is the fact that about 90% of type 2 diabetes cases are associated with lifestyle and nutrition. An unhealthy diet, excess sugar and fats, and lack of fiber are all risk factors that can and should be corrected.
In Russia, the situation is also cause for concern: as of early 2026, the number of patients with diabetes approached 6 million. Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova has repeatedly expressed concern about the upward trend in incidence, warning of a possible epidemic. In response to these challenges, since 2023 the Federal Project “Combating Diabetes Mellitus” has been implemented, creating a three‑level system of care, including regional and inter‑district centers, as well as schools for patients.
It is precisely in this context that the activities of RK “ETALON” acquire special significance. Our company specializes in providing healthcare organizations with everything necessary for effective diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with endocrine diseases, primarily diabetes mellitus.
