Russian ETALON Company Took Part in the 7th Forum of Endocrinologists of Kuban

ETALON Company took part in the 7th Forum of Endocrinologists of Kuban, attended by representatives of Russia’s Southern Federal District.

The forum’s theme was “Innovations in Endocrinology: Key Issues in the Prevention and Treatment of Endocrine Disorders.”

The event took place over two days, from 27 to 28 October 2017, in Krasnodar at Regional Clinical Hospital No. 2.

Dedicated to improving the qualifications of Russian endocrinologists, the forum enabled practicing physicians in the regions to learn about the latest innovations and exchange invaluable experience with their colleagues. Invited professors presented the most relevant topics from well-known Moscow congresses and conferences. The speakers complemented their lectures with unconventional presentations and informative video materials.

As is customary, the organizers held an exhibition of modern medicines and medical devices as part of the forum. Since endocrinologists and patients in Kuban have actively used our Company’s products since 2013, we presented our devices for measuring blood glucose, cholesterol and triglyceride levels: the MultiCare-in rapid analyzer, the iCheck blood glucose meter and all related consumables.

Participants paid particular attention to the fact that the iCheck blood glucose meter has no equivalent in Russia in terms of the composition and quality of its consumables. Specifically, iCheck test strips are the only ones in Russia manufactured from a highly durable material using proven technology from the United Kingdom.

It should be noted that over the past 10 years, the number of people with diabetes has tripled. In Krasnodar Krai alone, more than 180,000 patients currently have this diagnosis. However, these figures are primarily associated with improved diabetes detection at the early diagnostic stage.
